The goal was to create the lightest aero-oriented bike in the pro peloton, and Factor has achieved this through revolutionary design innovations. The dramatically thin seatpost, just 15mm wide, capitalizes on the latest UCI rules while the Di2 battery has been relocated inside the seat tube behind the bottom bracket for better weight distribution and easier access. The new pusher-type seatpost clamp is repositioned at the rear of the seat tube where it distributes force over a large area, allowing for very secure fixation with low torque and dramatic weight reduction.

The Ostro VAM 2.0 comes equipped with Factor's innovative bottle cages which are location-specific and integrated into the frame's aerodynamics, with the downtube cage directing airflow to neutralize drag when adding a bottle.
